Drone overflight

Today, a drone overflight provided a stunning aerial view of the ongoing construction at the CometLab site in Noordwijk. The footage offers a unique perspective on the progress being made, showcasing the early stages of development for this ambitious space research facility.

The drone’s flight revealed the freshly driven foundation piles and the initial groundwork completed since the official groundbreaking. The bird’s-eye view highlights the scale of the project and the meticulous planning involved in bringing CometLab to life.

“Drone technology gives us an incredible vantage point to monitor and document progress,” said Paul Veger, board member of the foundation. “This is just the beginning, but already, you can see the promise of what’s to come.”

As construction advances, drone overflights will continue to provide updates, helping to keep stakeholders and the public informed about this exciting journey. CometLab aims to become a hub for cutting-edge space technology research, driving innovation and international collaboration.
